    Job Title: General Production Worker

    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team as a General Production Worker where you will be an integral part of the production process. You will engage in various general labor duties, ensuring our products meet high standards of quality and cleanliness.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate a Rapid-Pak machine.

    + Utilize a vacuum seal machine at an entry level.

    + Carry and stage metal trays for machine operators.

    + Organize and sanitize metal trays for cheese storage.

    + Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and mopping floors.

    + Scoop cheese from mixing bins to cheese troughs.

    + Sanitize troughs after each batch.

    + Transfer cheese from main trough to sorting machines.

    + Weigh and sort cheese.

    + Seal and box the sorted cheese.

    + Wash and sanitize hands frequently throughout the day.

    + Adhere to GMP and PPE requirements.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in food preparation.

    + Experience in a manufacturing environment.

    + Knowledge of cleanroom and food manufacturing practices (1+ year).

    + Understanding of GMP guidelines (1+ year).

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (6 months).

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with vacuum seal machines.

    + 1+ years in food manufacturing.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    + Nice to have: experience in pasteurization, dairy, and sanitation.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a climate-controlled facility with temperatures ranging between 40-55 degrees. This role operates on the second shift from 11:00am to 7:00pm, Monday through Friday, with expectations of 5-10 hours of overtime. Candidates must adhere to GMP guidelines, including wearing hairnets and beard nets, and must not smoke during shifts or breaks.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
