    Job Title: Structures Mechanic (Per Diem Available)

    Job Description

    As a Structures Mechanic, you will be involved in 737 Fuselage Repair, installing, sealing, rigging, inspecting, and completing precision and other structural and system components. You will work from drawings, documents, process specifications, quality control requirements, and established processes and procedures. Your role will involve performing repairs and reassembly on fuselage areas, and conducting functional tests to ensure the fit, form, and function of assemblies and components.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform structural re-work and repairs on 737 aircraft, focusing on fuselage, join areas, and doors.

    + Remove and reinstall fasteners, drill holes to close tolerance, and install rivets and fasteners of various types.

    + Repair composite panels and remove, replace, and repair flight controls.

    + Fabricate and install doublers and triplers.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in sheet metal and blueprint interpretation.

    + At least 5 years of experience in aircraft structures repair, assembly, and maintenance.

    + Ability to perform precise structural repairs and installations.

    Work Environment

     

    Work within an aircraft manufacturing facility with shifts that may extend to 8 to 12 hours, operating up to 7 days a week, either from 5 am - 5 pm or 2:30 pm - 2:30 am. Training will be conducted either on-site or in Wichita, KS, with travel arrangements and expenses covered. This role requires flexibility, as workloads can vary, with paid hours even during inactive periods. Tools will be provided, and there is no requirement to bring personal equipment.

    This is a Contract position based out of Renton, Washington.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $44.00 - $51.00/hr.
