**Description:** You will be the Inspector Senior for our quality team\. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our products through rigorous inspection and testing, implementing and developing procedures to verify product functionality and compliance with industry standards\.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Inspector Senior, you will be responsible for leading the inspection effort to guarantee high\-quality products, using your expertise to identify and address nonconformities, and ensuring compliance with requirements and specifications\.

Your responsibilities will include:

\-Performing visual inspections on in\-process and completed products to verify quality and functionality

\-Checking dimensions, verifying functionality, and performing quality inspections as defined in planning and work instructions

\-Creating quality notifications for nonconformities, performing sorts and stock purges, and auditing assigned work areas for compliance

\-Interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate inspections and identifications of nonconformities

\-Ensuring assigned work areas comply with requirements, including age of materials, equipment calibrations, area content, and tagging

MUST BE A U\.S\. CITIZEN \- This position is located at a facility that requires special access\. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance\.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• Familiar with Microsoft Office products \(Outlook,

Excel, Word, and PowerPoint\) is a plus

• Must have the desire and/or ability to use inspection

tools such as digital calipers, go/no go gages,

micrometers, fixtures and other basic gages

• Ability to work from inspection instructions,

blueprints/drawings and specifications

• This position will be located at a facility that requires

special access and requires the selected candidate to

be a US citizen

• Must be able to obtain a secret security clearance

• Must be able to work in various climates

Desired Skills:

• Prior inspection experience in a production

environment

• Prior SAP/APRISO/MRO Software experience is a plus

\(on the job training will be provided\)

• Strong teaming ability and effective communication

skills

• Critical thinking and problem solving

• Be able to work independently

**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full\-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\.

**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
