About Siena's Baldwin Nursing Program:
Siena's Baldwin Nursing Program provides an education that is congruent with Siena mission and learning goals and offers nurses a broader humanistic caring perspective of the discipline of nursing. The Nursing program integrates a caring science curriculum with Franciscan values and a strong education in the liberal arts and sciences. With a focus on mindful learning, reflective practice and the importance of self-care, our caring science teaching-learning philosophy creates an authentic environment to enhance the student's understanding of social, cultural, economic and political issues that impact health care.
Siena's Baldwin Nursing Program is seeking applicants for Adjunct Nursing Faculty to begin September 1, 2025; for the fall 2025 semester.
Siena's Department of Nursing is a dynamic and growing program and is accepting applications for an Adjunct Nursing Faculty position. The faculty for this position will teach one to two clinical sections of our upper division nursing course NURS 410 Population and Public Health Nursing Perspectives (4 credits).
Salary $1,333.34 per contact hour
The hiring salary above represents the College's good faith estimate at the time of posting in compliance with the Albany County Salary Transparency Law.
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have at least an MS degree with a major in nursing. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching using a caring science philosophy. A minimum of three (3) years teaching in baccalaureate nursing is preferred. In addition, the ideal candidate will have experience with Dr. Jean Watson's caring science philosophy. Licensed to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in NY State.
A background screening will be required.
