Job Description

This role involves designing, deploying, and integrating Ignition SCADA systems, including creating user interfaces in both Perspective and Vision, configuring alarms, and connecting to various data sources and equipment. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement complex control systems, write and debug Ignition code, and ensure timely project execution while maintaining comprehensive documentation. Additionally, the role supports testing, troubleshooting, and providing technical guidance throughout the system development lifecycle.

Skills and Requirements

3+ Years of Experience

Bachelors degree: in Computer Science, electrical engineering, Automation or related field

experience in designing and developing HMI, MES, and SCADA systems built around the Ignition platform

Strong working knowledge of Python and Java programming languages

Controls background and familiar communicating with PLCs

Experience in implementing network architecture for an Ignition SCADA system - Experience working with Ignition Core or Gold certification.
