    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Supervisor to join the finance team of one of its leading financial services clients. This individual will oversee a small team and report directly to the Senior Manager of the department. The role involves managing daily payment operations, including reviewing payment files, verifying that previous day payments have cleared, and investigating any discrepancies. The supervisor will collaborate closely with internal teams, suppliers, and vendors to resolve payment issues and ensure smooth processing. Strong communication skills are essential, as this role requires frequent interaction across departments and with external partners. Additionally, the candidate will work extensively with Excel to analyze and organize data, ensuring accuracy and clarity. Responsibilities also include responding to payment inquiries through a ticketing system, prioritizing tasks independently, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency. The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of completing projects with minimal supervision.

     

    Hourly pay for this role can go up to $33/hr depending on experience.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Associate degree in accounting or business

     

    5+ years of relevant work experience.

     

    3+ years of supervisory experience

     

    Large ERP system experience (Oracle, SAP or PeopleSoft)

     

    Microsoft Excel and Word (Vlook-ups and Pivots tables)

    multicurrency experience

    ServiceNow for ticketing experience automating or helping automate processes (EDI files)

     

    experience working for a global company

     

    strong reporting/reconciliation experience

    1099 reporting and escheatment processes null
