    $60/hr - $68/hr

     

    We're currently working with a major international banking client in the Charlotte area that is looking for a Data Engineer strong with data migrations to join their team. The role will be heavily focused on using Python, Hive, and Dremio, to modernize their legacy SQL and SSIS tools.

     

    This role will be a long term Contract role with a high chance of conversion. They will be looking for someone that can be hybrid onsite in Charlotte, NC, 3 days/week.

    Required Skills & Experience

    + 4+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field

    + Proficient in Python

    + Experience working with Hive or Dremio

    + Exposure to legacy tools like SQL and SSIS

    + Hands-on experience with data migrations in previous roles

    + Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building efficient, maintainable solutions.

    Preferred Experience

    + BS or higher in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or a related field.
