Hourly Range : $22- $24

Responsibilities: Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in establishment by performing the following duties:

+ Counts material in stock and posts totals to inventory records.

+ Compares actual inventories to records in Metalware.

+ Adjusts errors in computation or count and/or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.

+ Employees must be willing to assist in other areas of operations as needed

Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or One-year certificate from college or technical school

+ Experience in metals industry is preferred

+ Effective communication skills which include verbal and written in English

+ Basic computer skills are necessary

+ Must have experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word

+ Willingness to learn mainframe program (internal computer system)

+ Ability to read a tape measure, micrometer, or other measuring device

+ Willingness to learn to operate forklift/side loader and such along with cutting equipment

+ Knowledge of basic math skills

+ Position requires standing, sitting, stooping, and kneeling

+ The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, with assistance

+ Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception with or without corrected vision

+ Willingness to work in an environment with varying temperature degrees
