    • Develop and enforce storage security policies, procedures, and access controls

    • Deploy and monitor storage systems for security breaches or unauthorized access attempts including ransomware protection

    • Collaborate with the Info security team to address storage-related vulnerabilities and threats.

    • Implement and maintain high availability and fault-tolerant storage architectures

    • Develop and test disaster recovery plans and procedures for storage systems

    • Conduct periodic disaster recovery drills and exercises to validate the effectiveness of the DR solutions

    • Lead a team of storage administrators and engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management

    • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting knowledge sharing and cross-training

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of storage system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides

    • Provide management with insights and recommendations for storage system improvements and optimizations

    • Ensure proper documentation and knowledge transfer for deployed storage systems.

    Job Requirements

    • Demonstrate a track record of successfully leading and managing the storage engineering function at scale

    • Possess a deep understanding and expertise in data storage discipline, including data protection and data security

    • Exhibit excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to non-technical individuals

    • Display the capability to independently prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

    • Foster a collaborative work environment by effectively collaborating with peers across different functional teams
