About the Role: Cook

As a Cook, you’ll play a key role in supporting the health, happiness, and daily experience of the residents at Fieldstone of DeWitt.

As a Cook, you will:

+ **Create Delicious Meals:** Prepare a variety of hot and cold dishes daily using chef-approved recipes that highlight your culinary skills.

+ **Work Alongside Culinary Leaders:** Collaborate with Chefs and Food & Beverage Directors while gaining hands-on experience in a professional kitchen.

+ **Support Specialized Diets:** Help craft meals that meet modified diet plans, making a real difference in guests' health and satisfaction.

+ **Maintain High Standards:** Monitor food quality, manage portions, and act quickly to ensure every plate meets our service excellence.

+ **Practice Smart & Clean Cooking:** Follow proper sanitation and waste control practices, contributing to a safe, efficient, and sustainable kitchen.

Opening:

+ First Shift Part-Time (6:00am-2:30pm)

+ Full-Time (6:00am-6:30pm)

+ Second Shift Part-Time (3:30pm-7:30pm)

+ PRN (scheduled as needed)

+ Flexible scheduling available for students

Qualifications:

+ Culinary education preferred

+ Minimum one year cooking experience

+ Experience with quantity cooking and modified diet preferred
