Summary Objective:
The Associate Manager of Program Management manages the overall programs for the ERP and applicable applications & solutions, including new implementations, projects, enhancements and support & maintenance with the goal of meeting the needs of the business. The role partners with business stakeholders and users in key functional areas to ensure alignment of system strategy to business strategy and works with various internal and external stakeholders to determine priority, time and resources required, as well as the overall strategy to fulfill and complete business technology projects. The role directly leads projects including performing project management, business systems analysis & organizational change management to deliver project business objectives in alignment with internal processes and leading practices.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
+ Manage the programs for the ERP and applicable applications and solutions to effectively deliver operational and strategic business requirements
+ Serve as Business Partner for all areas involved in the Order to Cash process, including Customer Service, Customer Strategy, Supply Chain, Cost Accounting and Accounts Receivable
+ Serve as Business Partner for the US Sales team as well as the international teams
+ Manage the intake process for new requests, working with cross-functional resources to determine the costs and benefits, and facilitate review and approval to prioritize such requests
+ Build roadmaps of all approved projects and enhancements, estimating appropriate resourcing and drive to completion
+ Lead analysis of business needs, design, development, implementation, and support of assigned enterprise applications
+ Develop ideas to help extend the functionality of assigned business applications to enhance efficiency and productivity
+ Work closely with a team of analysts, development partners and business stakeholders to develop and deliver solutions, manage system support including tickets and enhancements
+ Provide functional and system knowledge to help design solutions in partnership with business and system resources
+ Ensure all applicable applications meet the required regulatory aspects including GxP requirements in accordance with company standards
+ Manage and develop an internal team as well as manage vendor resources to support all applicable applications and projects
+ Collaborate with IT Leadership to provide strategic direction and planning
+ Plan, execute and monitor the progress of projects related to assigned enterprise applications
+ Manage external partners to support development and implementation efforts.
+ Assist with knowledge management and user training efforts.
+ Contribute to IT departmental budget planning and management.
+ Collaborate with other teams across the organization.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
+ Ability to thrive in a demanding, dynamic, change-oriented, fast paced environment requiring a high degree of deadline-driven productivity
+ Proficient in managing project roadmaps, prioritization frameworks, and resource planning across multiple stakeholders and initiatives
+ Proven ability to meet deadlines and handle and prioritize multiple requests
+ Knowledge of business processes in all the areas supported as business partner
+ Knowledge of NetSuite from a functional standpoint
+ Knowledge of the Order to Cash (O2C) process and its integration with key business areas such as Customer Service, Sales, Supply Chain, Cost Accounting, and AR.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead business analysis, system design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise applications.
+ Experience in compliance and regulatory requirements, including GxP standards and validation procedures.
+ Skilled in overseeing vendor partnerships, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and quality standards.
+ Ability to translate technical requirements into business-friendly terms
+ Excellent organizational, interpersonal and teamwork skills and demonstrated ability to work with several different functions and drive change and consensus building
+ Demonstrates the ability to absorb new information rapidly, apply insights effectively, and pivot as needed in response to changing priorities.
+ Exceptional written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, including an ability to articulate ideas clearly and appropriately influence others
+ Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
Education/Experience Required
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, engineering or related field or equivalent years of experience
+ Minimum 6 years of relevant experience including but not limited to: IT business relationship management, technology & data, consulting, operations/OTC, operations/OTC support / service delivery, project management, or project execution with some management experience
+ Minimum 2 years of experience with the following cloud-based systems required: NetSuite
+ Minimum 2 years of business partnership experience or experience working in the business areas supported
+ Minimum 2 years of experience working in the Medical Device industry
+ Experience working in a GxP environment
+ Demonstrated ability to build strong business relationships with Operations, OTC, Commercial and Finance/Accounting and related teams globally
+ Experience partnering with business stakeholders and users across multiple business areas
+ Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional business technology projects
+ Proficient in using productivity (Office 365 preferred) and project management tools, such as MS Project, Smartsheet or equivalent
+ Knowledge of OTC/Operations and related Commercial/Financial processes and systems required
Education/Experience Preferred
+ Experience with the following cloud-based systems preferred: Salesforce, Boomi, RFSmart
+ Minimum 4 years of Medical Device industry experience preferred
+ PMP or Scrum Master certification preferred
Physical Requirements
+ Regular computer usage
+ Extended periods of sitting, standing, and speaking
+ Working in Irvine or Remotely Pacific Time hours
+ For remote workers, ability to travel to Irvine 1 week per month
