About the Role
As a **Senior Portfolio Manager** , you will lead **enterprise portfolio strategy** by integrating multiple portfolios across Stryker’s **decentralized businesses** . You will collaborate closely with **R&D, regulatory, sales, and commercial marketing teams** to drive innovation, execute upstream marketing strategies, and ensure market alignment. Your expertise will be crucial in developing data-driven marketing plans, conducting **competitive analysis** , and leveraging **customer insights** to shape product roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities
Upstream Marketing & Portfolio Strategy
+ Act as the **primary liaison** between **R&D, product development, and division marketing teams** to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
+ Lead the **New Product Development Process (NPDP)** and drive **product lifecycle management (PLCM)** strategies.
+ Aggregate and optimize **enterprise portfolio strategy** across multiple decentralized business units.
+ Collaborate with **cross-functional teams** to develop and execute marketing strategies that align with business objectives.
Market & Competitive Insights
+ Conduct **market research** and analyze **industry trends** in **digital robotics and healthcare technology** .
+ Develop **competitive intelligence strategies** to assess market dynamics, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
+ Utilize **key opinion leader (KOL) networks** and digital tools to gather customer insights.
Marketing & Commercialization Strategy
+ Develop and execute **go-to-market strategies** for new and existing products.
+ Lead **product positioning, branding, and messaging** to maximize market impact.
+ Align marketing plans with **business development, sales, and regulatory teams** .
Business Analytics & Forecasting
+ Utilize **data analytics** to optimize product portfolio performance.
+ Forecast market demand and drive **Integrated Business Planning (IBP)** initiatives.
+ Collaborate with finance and operations to develop pricing strategies based on **market research and competitive analysis** .
Requirements:
+ **6+ years of experience** in **upstream marketing, product management, or strategic portfolio management** within the **medical device or healthcare software** industry.
+ Strong experience in **product lifecycle management (PLCM), new product development (NPD), and commercialization strategies** .
+ Proven ability to collaborate with **R&D, regulatory, sales, and marketing teams** to drive business outcomes.
+ Expertise in **market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights** .
+ Exceptional **strategic thinking, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills** .
