Drywall Finisher/Taper Foreman

Ultimate LLC is immediately hiring **Drywall Foreman** for commercial projects in the **Fargo/Grand Forks** area. The pay range is **$32+ per hour** based on experience. All drywall finishers are scheduled 40+ hours a week. We are looking for skilled craftsmen to add to our team of dedicated, safe, productive, and proven craftsmen. Ultimate LLC provides weekly pay for all employees with no week in the hole and optional direct deposit.

Ultimate Job Duties

+ Conceal any imperfections or exposed area in the drywall surface

+ Understand and demonstrate the five levels of finishing.

+ Experience with all types and ranges of commercial drywall finishing.

+ Using the right tools for the job size and need and understands the importance of tool maintenance and daily cleanup of production tools

+ Understands the right joint compound (quick-set, lightweight, or standard) to be used at appropriate situations.

+ Eliminates visible joints, knows how to eliminate air bubbles, tapes are not blistered, switch and receptacle boxes are finished tight.

+ Install cornerbead, trim beads, reveal beads straight, plumb and on tight utilizing string lines, laser, square, or straight edge.

+ Skill required to patch/repair existing drywall into like-new appearance.

Ultimate Drywall Finisher Requirements

+ The Drywall Finishing/Taping Foreman is responsible for the planning and oversight of all the drywall finishing aspects of the assigned project. This role ensure that every job meets the highest standards of quality, while also managing our Taping crew to keep everything running smoothly on site.

+ Must have basic hand tools to perform trade

+ Ability to perform regular standing, bending and kneeling and lifting of up to 50 lbs without assistance

The majority of our position’s hours range from 45 to 50 hours a week. Drywall Finisher applicants must have a personal vehicle and be prepared for work up to 40+ hours a week. Ultimate LLC provides weekly pay for all craftsmen with no week in the hole.

Ultimate Drywall Finisher Requirements

+ 18+ Years of Age

+ Ability to lift 50+ pounds

+ Ability to work in all weather conditions

+ Ability to use hand and power tools

+ 3 years construction experience

Ultimate Drywall Finisher Job Responsibilities

+ Join drywall panels using tape and plaster

+ Conceal any imperfections or exposed area in the drywall surface

+ Sanding down rough areas on the wall to create a smooth surface

+ Layering plaster or spackle with trowels to create a flat surface

+ Follow all OSHA guidelines and standards
