Summary You will serve as a LEAD LOGISTICS PRODUCT READINESS MANAGER in the LOGISTICS PRODUCT READINESS BRANCH (Code 317), LIFE CYCLE LOGISTICS, ENGINEERING & READINESS DIVISION (Code 31), MACHINERY RESEARCH, LOGISTICS & SHIP INTEGRITY DEPARTMENT (30) of Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWC PHILA DIV). Responsibilities You will analyze and evaluate major administrative aspects of mission-oriented logistics programs, developing long-range program plans, goals, and milestones. You will provide expert logistical and authoritative advice to logistics specialists, higher echelons, and other government agencies regarding Hull, Mechanical and Electrical systems. You will integrate diverse efforts of a variety of activities in the accomplishment of ship systems logistics programs, ensuring technical and logistical alignment. You will develop and maintain contacts with a wide variety of personnel and professional groups, including NAVSEA, NAVSUP, and other field activities. You will monitor and assess the technical integrity and economic effectiveness of equipment and spare parts replenishment for Navy and commercial relationships. You will create new methods to resolve logistic issues, ensuring program goals and objectives are met effectively. You will oversee the preparation of project schedules and milestones, coordinating with sponsors and ensuring alignment with NSWCPD objectives. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Working knowledge of Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) systems; (2) detailed knowledge of product support data from the fleet, NSWCPD Corona, and supply systems; (3) assessing data to create actionable recommendations to improve logistics products; (4) developing and presenting reports influencing Navy budgeting and planning; (5) training others in product support data knowledge.
