Key Responsibilities of a Hospice Clinical Manager:

+ Oversees all visits from referral-to-admission and through death processes.

+ Ensures quality care, documentation and collaboration are within guidelines.

+ Supports direct care coordination, ensures hospice eligibility, and oversees recordkeeping functions.

+ Provides orientation, education, training and/or competencies, as needed.

+ Maintain and implement operational policies and procedures to meet patient and family needs in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements guidelines and Care Initiatives Hospice policies and procedures.

+ Support and facilitate educational directives of the Administrator and/or corporate leadership.

What it takes to be a Clinical Manager with Care Initiatives Hospice:

+ Active RN license (or ability to activate) in the state(s) in which you operate.

+ Active CPR certification.

+ Hospice or palliative care experience.

+ At least one year in a leadership or charge nurse position or relative experience.

+ Two years of recent clinical experience in hospice, oncology, home health or public health nursing; hospice experience preferred.

+ Home access to the internet.

+ Hospice and Palliative Registered Nurse Certification (CHPN) preferred, or ability to obtain within 24 months of employment.
