    Mobile Flex Security Officer – Part Time

    **Location:** Edwardsville, IL

    **Rate:** $16.00-$18.00/HR

     

    Available shifts for Security Officers will include 2nd shift and/or 3rd shift, weekends, and holidays. Monday to Friday and/or day shift positions are not available.

    Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The **Mobile Officer** position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, which may include operating a vehicle to patrol. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

     

    The Mobile Officer maintains the security and safety of multiple sites by conducting patrols via a motor vehicle. All you need is a valid driver’s license and clean driving history, to be a great fit for this role!

    What Your Day May Look Like:

    + Conflict resolution and De-escalation.

    + Secure entrances / patrol inside and outside the client’s premises.

    + Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.

    + Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions.

    + Clearly and quickly report any suspicious activity.

    Position Requirements:

    + Must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for a PERC Security Officer License in the State of Illinois.

    + Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record required. (All our positions will include driver certification).

    + Have reliable transportation (private transportation is required) (Public transportation is generally not available at our various site locations).

    + Have reliable working communication device (cell phone).

    + Have a High School Diploma or GED or be willing to complete the GED program within six months.

    + Average to above average computer skills.

    + Have the legal right to work in the United States.

    + Ability to speak, read, and write English.

    + Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.

    + Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.

    + Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.
