Position Summary...

Walmart’s Trust & Safety (T&S) organization supporting Last Mile Delivery (LMD) is seeking a leader for our data analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a combination of technical, organization, and people management skills.

What you'll do...

Data analytics:

+ Work directly with T&S leaders to gather requirements.

+ Identity relevant data, analyze, validate, visualize, and deliver on analytics work product that facilitates accurate, data-driven decision making.

+ Ensure program-level metrics and scorecards are validated and aligned with executive leadership expectations.

Workload management:

+ Develop and maintain dynamic dashboards and reports to support T&S pillars of safety, incident management, fraud, and governance.

+ Coordinate and prioritize analytics workload across T&S team members and support teams (e.g. contractors, overseas resources, and similar) to realize efficiencies and expedite work turnaround times.

Data governance:

+ Work with the LMD data governance team to support data quality, mapping, reporting, and similar efforts to ensure data leveraged in analytics work is accurate, real-time, and reliable.

+ Champion data governance, quality, and documentation best practices across the T&S analytics function.

Tool development:

+ Support the design and development of AI tools for knowledge management, NLP queries, automation, and similar advanced products that provide faster speed to data.

+ Work with data science resources to pilot and test new solutions.

People management:

+ Oversee the T&S data analytics resources and partner with cross-functional teams (e.g. Legal, Compliance, Privacy) to validate requirements and respond quickly to feedback.

What you'll bring:

+ You are a strong communicator and storyteller who can translate complex data into actionable insights.

+ You have experience leading analytics teams in safety, compliance, logistics, or operations environments.

+ You are proficient in SQL and tools like Power BI, Tableau, BigQuery, or Dataiku.

+ You are passionate about data quality, governance, and continuous improvement.

+ Experience with regulatory reporting or safety/compliance analytics.

+ Certifications in data analysis, data governance, or privacy.

+ Familiarity with machine learning, AI, and/or predictive analytics techniques.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations , or related field and 3 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area. 1 year’s supervisory experience.
