    Description

    Monte Package Company, a division of Bunzl, is seeking a Customer Service Representative for our location in Riverside, MI. The Customer Service Rep will answer inquiries on customer accounts, investigate any issues and find resolutions in a timely manner. They will serve as the liaison between the sales staff and the customer.

    _Responsibilities:_

    + Accurately enter and process customer orders in a timely manner

    + Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and efficiency

    + Obtain freight quotes and prepare Bills of Lading for outbound shipments

    + Maintain and update Monte Package Company’s social media platforms

    + Manage item data and implement price adjustments, as needed

    + Provide support to the Accounts Receivable team

    + Monitor and track incoming and outgoing shipments

    + Represent the company at trade shows and industry events, as required

    + Handle daily mail duties, including pickup and drop-off at the post office

    + Assist with special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned

    _Requirements:_

    + High school diploma or equivalent required

    + Minimum of 2+ years of customer service experience

    + Experience in produce packaging is a plus

    + Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel within a Windows environment

    + Familiarity with Microsoft Great Plains highly preferred

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills

    + Proven ability to multitask, solve problems, and make sound decisions

    + Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service

    + Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred
