    Summary:

    We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Eyepiece Process Integration Engineer to join our team. As an Eyepiece Process Integration Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of process integration solutions for cutting-edge eyepiece manufacturing. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the successful production of high-quality eyepieces that meet our stringent standards.

    Required Skills:

    Eyepiece Process Integration Engineer Responsibilities:

    1. Design, develop, and implement process integration solutions for eyepiece manufacturing, including process flow, equipment selection, and material handling

    2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system, design, engineering, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of processes and systems

    3. Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, including process flow diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions

    4. Conduct process capability studies and statistical analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimize process performance

    5. Implement and validate process changes, including equipment modifications, process parameter adjustments, and new material introductions

    6. Troubleshoot process-related issues and provide technical support to production teams

    7. Develop and deliver training programs to production staff on new processes and equipment

    8. Continuously monitor and evaluate process performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed

    9. Perform Design For Manufacturability (DFM) reviews to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturing efficiency and quality

    10. Review and approve fixture designs to ensure they meet manufacturing requirements and are optimized for production

    11. Conduct DOEs and analyze data using statistical methods to identify trends, areas for improvement, and inform process optimization decisions

    12. Conduct process capability studies to evaluate the ability of processes to produce products within specified limits

    13. Evaluate and implement process improvements, including reducing variability, improving yield, and increasing efficiency

    14. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration

    Minimum Qualifications:

    15. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field

    16. 2+ years of experience in process integration engineering, preferably in the augmented reality or optics related industry

    17. Proven track record of designing and implementing process integration solutions that improve efficiency, quality, and productivity

    18. Demonstrated knowledge of process engineering principles, including process flow, equipment selection, and material handling

    19. Good communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

    20. Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex process-related issues

    Preferred Qualifications:

    21. Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field

    22. Experience with six sigma, lean manufacturing principles and methodologies

    23. Experience with statistical analysis and process capability studies

    24. Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards

    25. Certification in process engineering or a related field

    26. Experience with data analysis software, such as Minitab or JMP

    27. Familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM) principles and methodologies

    28. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

    Public Compensation:

    $111,000/year to $164,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
