Description

Our client, a respected nonprofit organization, is seeking a HR Assistant to provide vital support to their HR team. Key Responsibilities:
+ Manage employee records and maintain up-to-date documentation in the HRIS system
+ Assist in recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications
+ Facilitate new hire onboarding, preparing paperwork and ensuring a seamless orientation process.
+ Respond to employee inquiries about HR policies, benefits, and processes, escalating more complex concerns to senior HR staff.
+ Help track compliance with mandatory training, certifications, and HR-related audits
+ Support payroll and benefits administration, including collecting employee data and resolving basic issues.
+ Coordinate logistics for HR meetings, events, and training sessions, ensuring attendance tracking and follow-up.
+ Provide overall administrative support to the HR team while handling projects aimed at improving HR processes.
Requirements
+ 1-2 years of experience in human resources or administrative support, preferably in a nonprofit environment
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS or payroll systems.
+ High organizational skills and attention to detail to manage compliance documents and employee records effectively.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an approachable and professional demeanor
+ A collaborative mindset, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
+ Discretion and integrity when handling sensitive employee information.
+ Passion for HR and working in a mission-driven organization.
