Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Naples, Florida. This role involves ensuring the accuracy of financial records, maintaining compliance with tax regulations, and supporting key accounting processes. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Manage general ledger accounts, performing reconciliations and identifying discrepancies.

• Handle sales tax filings and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting issues and streamline processes.

• Conduct periodic audits to verify the accuracy of financial transactions.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records for regulatory and internal purposes.

• Provide insights and recommendations for improving financial operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.

• Proficiency in managing sales tax filings and compliance.

• Strong knowledge of journal entry preparation and general ledger reconciliation.

• Familiarity with accounting software and advanced proficiency in Excel.

• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.

• Strong communication abilities to collaborate effectively with team members.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
