Description We are looking for a motivated Tax Accountant to join our team in Minnetonka, Minnesota. This role is ideal for professionals eager to advance their technical tax knowledge while taking on leadership responsibilities. You will contribute to tax preparation and review, conduct research, and play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to clients.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review complex individual and business tax returns with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Conduct in-depth tax research and assist with planning strategies to optimize client tax positions.

• Collaborate with senior team members on engagements, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality deliverables.

• Take initial steps in managing client relationships by addressing inquiries and providing timely updates.

• Mentor and train less experienced staff, fostering their technical development and enhancing team collaboration.

• Review the work of less experienced team members and provide constructive feedback to ensure compliance and accuracy.

• Identify and resolve advanced tax issues, proposing solutions tailored to client needs.

• Utilize tax and accounting software tools effectively to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

• Stay updated on tax regulations and industry trends through ongoing training and self-study.

• Contribute to identifying opportunities to expand services and enhance client satisfaction. Requirements • A minimum of 3 years of experience in tax preparation and review, specifically for individual and business returns.

• Strong technical expertise in partnership tax, S-Corps, and related areas.

• Proficiency in using CCH ProSystem fx or similar tax compliance software.

• Demonstrated ability to mentor less experienced staff and collaborate within a team environment.

• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to conduct detailed tax research.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and team members.

• Commitment to maintaining technical knowledge through focused development.

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
