    As a Construction Quality Inspector, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring construction projects adhere to plans, specifications, and regulations. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining quality, safety, and compliance throughout the construction process. You will conduct inspections, assess materials, and document findings, requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, ensuring adherence to approved plans, specifications, and relevant codes.

    + Evaluate the quality and suitability of construction materials, including concrete, steel, and other components.

    + Verify compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.

    + Maintain detailed records of inspections, including photographs, reports, and test results.

    + Prepare comprehensive reports detailing inspection findings, including any deviations or non-conformances.

    + Communicate effectively with contractors, engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders regarding inspection results and necessary corrective actions.

    + Identify potential issues and collaborate with project teams to develop effective solutions.

    + Conduct or oversee field and laboratory tests on materials to assess their quality and performance.

    Essential Skills

    + Understanding of construction methods, materials, and relevant codes and standards.

    + Meticulous approach to inspections and documentation.

    + Ability to clearly communicate findings and recommendations to various stakeholders.

    + Ability to identify issues and contribute to solutions.

    + Proficiency in using tools for measurement and inspection, such as calipers, micrometers, and testing equipment.

    + Thorough understanding of safety protocols and regulations.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 5-7 years of experience in construction or quality control.

    + Prefer a degree or certification in construction management, engineering, or a related field.

    + Mechanical experience is preferred.

    + Data Center experience is advantageous.

    + Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail.

    Work Environment

    The work environment includes construction sites, laboratories, offices, and project meetings. The typical schedule is 40 hours per week, with an estimated daily schedule of 10 hours. The position is located in the area with the ZIP code BOYDTON-BN1.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $59.00 - $69.00/hr.
