Job Title: Embedded Systems Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Embedded Systems Engineer to design, develop, and verify bare-metal embedded software for real-time aerospace systems in compliance with DO-178C standards. This role is critical to the success of a high-visibility aerospace program and requires deep technical expertise and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Design, develop, and verify bare-metal embedded software for real-time systems in compliance with DO-178C.

+ Develop and maintain software for ARM Cortex-M4 microcontrollers

+ Write and maintain code in C and C++.

+ Develop scripts for a simulated test environment.

+ Utilize DOORS for requirements management and traceability.

Required Qualifications:

+ 10+ years of experience in embedded systems design, with a focus on bare-metal development.

+ Proven experience with DO-178C development and verification processes.

+ Proficiency with C/C++ programming.

+ Experience with ARM Cortex-M4 and NXP S32K microcontrollers.

+ Experience with test script development and testing.

+ Familiarity with DOORS.

Schedule: Monday–Friday onsite in Lynnwood, WA.

Start Date: Approximately August 18th

Duration: 6-9 month contract- potential to extend/convert to FTE based on headcount approvals

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $90.00/hr.
