    Job Title: Warehouse Driver

    Job Description

    The Warehouse Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement and delivery of materials. This position involves pulling orders for shipment, maintaining accurate inventory counts, loading trucks for shipment, delivering materials locally to customers, and providing excellent customer service.

    Responsibilities

    + Pull orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.

    + Maintain inventory counts within the warehouse to ensure stock accuracy.

    + Load trucks with materials for shipment.

    + Deliver materials locally to customers in a timely manner.

    + Provide outstanding customer service to clients during deliveries.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of warehouse experience.

    + 2+ years of driving experience.

    + Proficiency in picking and packing orders.

    + Experience in material handling and inventory management.

    + Ability to operate forklifts (not required but beneficial).

    + Valid driver's license and DOT certification.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience driving a box truck.

    + Capability to handle and deliver insulation materials.

    + Strong customer service skills.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a very small local operation with just three employees, fostering a friendly and familial atmosphere. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. The role involves operating forklifts and driving a box truck 30-40% of the time to deliver insulation materials to various businesses.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
