Job Title: Reach Forklift Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled reach forklift operator to join our team in a contract-to-hire position. You will be responsible for efficiently operating an electric pallet jack, picking pallets off shelves, and moving between refrigerated, freezer, and dry sections throughout your shift. Your role will also involve stacking and wrapping pallets, as well as loading, unloading, and staging materials. You will use a handheld RF scanner to ensure the correct products are picked.

Responsibilities

+ Operate an electric pallet jack to pick pallets off shelves.

+ Move between refrigerated, freezer, and dry sections throughout the shift.

+ Stack and wrap pallets.

+ Load, unload, and stage materials.

+ Use a handheld RF scanner to scan proper products.

Essential Skills

+ Experience operating an electric pallet jack.

+ Proficiency in using a handheld RF scanner.

+ Ability to work in cold environments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous warehouse experience.

+ Steel toe boots are required.

+ Must pass a machine test during the interview process.

Work Environment

This is a fully on-site position located in Linden, New Jersey. You will work in the freezer and refrigerated sections of a fast-paced warehouse environment. Your shift will be from Sunday through Thursday, starting at 6pm and ending at 4am. We provide jackets, gloves, and hats to ensure comfort in colder areas.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Linden, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $19.50/hr.
