Job Title: HVAC Service Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated HVAC Service Technician with five full-time years of field experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The ideal candidate must hold a valid driver's license and be able to meet auto insurance requirements. Additionally, the candidate must be EPA Universal Certified.

Responsibilities

+ Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

+ Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements.

+ Perform routine preventative maintenance.

+ Respond to emergency maintenance requests.

+ Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Essential Skills

+ EPA Universal Certification

+ Proficiency in HVAC service and troubleshooting

+ Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems

+ Understanding of safety procedures and OSHA 10 standards

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Familiarity with HVAC diagrams

+ Ability to handle physical workload

+ Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

+ Excellent communication and people skills

Work Environment

Candidates will be working throughout Western New York to service commercial and industrial HVAC units, primarily in retail locations, supermarkets, and convenience stores. The standard shift is from 8 AM to 4 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Seneca, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
