Salary: $2000 / Week

Amergis Healthcare is hiring Physical Therapist to support a Psych Hospital. We also offer travel packages as well if over 50 miles from the site.

Details

+ Setting: Psych Hospital

+ Location: Anaheim

+ Schedule: AMs, 8AM-5PM full time, 5 days a week (13 week contract, temp to hire)

+ Pay: $50-$70/hour (based on experience)- Weekly pay

PT Essential Responsibilities:

+ Patient Evaluation:

+ Consult with patients to assess physical condition and symptoms.

+ Review medical history and physician referrals.

+ Diagnose movement dysfunction through observation and testing.

+ Treatment Planning:

+ Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs.

+ Set measurable goals and track progress.

+ Therapeutic Interventions:

+ Guide patients through exercises and stretches.

+ Use manual therapy techniques (e.g., massage, joint mobilization).

+ Apply modalities like ultrasound, electrical stimulation, or heat/cold therapy.

+ Patient Education:

+ Teach patients and families about home exercises and recovery expectations.

+ Provide guidance on injury prevention and lifestyle modifications.

+ Documentation & Coordination:

+ Maintain accurate patient records.

+ Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

PT Qualifications:

+ Licensure: Must be licensed by the Physical Therapy Board of California (PTBC).
