Description
The IT Technician position is responsible for serving as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance. The IT tech will work to achieve resolution upon initial response related to end user IT asset management for both physical, virtual and all Enterprise and Departmental applications. The IT Tech will “Think like a Customer” to maintain and ensure business continuity with a security mindset. The IT Tech will provide resolution documentation utilizing the CIS ticketing system. This role requires a wide range of knowledge across various technologies.Please note that this position requires the candidate to be fully onsite at our hospital in Fergus Falls, MN.
Hours/Shifts
80 hours biweekly, day shifts with an on-call rotation.
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $25.56-$34.98/hour. Please note that final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.

Qualifications
Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills, and/or abilities:
+ Associate Degree in Information Technology required or an equivalent of demonstrated experience. BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science or relevant field is preferred.
+ Proven experience as an IT support technician or other customer support role is preferred. Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products. Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
+ Proficiency in English, excellent communication skills.
+ Customer service strengths with team-oriented passion.
+ Must possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
+ Must be highly analytical; have excellent problem-solving abilities; sound judgement; initiative.
+ Successful completion of the pre-employment health screening process required.
+ Mental Demands: Requires a high degree of mental alertness, comprehension, time management, and the ability to cope with resolving information and system problems.
+ Must be able to attend the work site per schedule and must be available to provide emergency coverage during after-hours shifts.
