    The role you'll contribute:

    The Cath Lab Technician, under the supervision of the Cath Lab Director, Interventional Cardiologist, and the licensed RN's and RT's, will provide direct patient care to patients needing a cardiology procedure in a variety of specific patient care activities.

    + Performs all cardiovascular procedures according to hospital and department policies.

    + As a technician scrubs in and assists physicians utilizing sterile technique.

    + Set-up, operates, and maintains equipment and supplies for each procedure.

    + Holds pressure on arterial and venous sites and applies sterile dressing to puncture site after hemostasis is achieved.

    Qualifications

    The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed** **:

    + Associate or Graduate of a Technical School Required

    + BCLS - Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association Required

    + ACLS Required
