    Overview

     

    This position will assist current employees with daily duties in the Field Operations Department.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist the Planning, Engineering, and Construction Section with various reporting and tracking methods designed to support departmental programs;

    + Assist with Project design;

    + Assist in reviewing and provide input regarding current recommended procedures and Distribution Standards;

    + Assist in research and development of instruction manuals outlining directives and equipment usage for projects.

    + Assist in documenting current Safety Procedures;

    + Assist in reviewing accident/claim reports;

    + Assist Superintendent of Training/Safety with special projects and assignments.

    Qualifications

    + Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Safety Science, or Occupational Safety,

    + Must have verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees;

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office;

    + Must have organizational management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and usually under short deadlines.
