Job Summary:
Under the general supervision of the President and Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Assistant provides administrative support to the President and the Chief Executive Officer, the board of directors, and the Consumer Advisory Board, and other Executive Staff. Organizes and coordinates projects to benefit the organization. The executive assistant also serves as the corporate purchasing agent; assists in the development, design, and production of marketing brochures, flyers, publications, advertising, and signage for public information ; assists in office/lobby design/environment, purchasing furniture/supplies, and office setup.

Essential Functions:
Other duties may be assigned. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the position.
1. Providing administrative support to President and Chief Executive Officer.
+ Provides administrative support to the President and Chief Executive Officer, and in their absence assures that communication and emergent situations are handled in a timely fashion.
+ Assists President and Chief Executive Officer with scheduling appointments, meeting arrangements, correspondence, travel arrangements, communications.
+ Oversees daily operations of administrative office, e.g., copy/fax machine, hospitality for guests.
+ May coordinate support services with other areas of operation.
+ In coordination with the President and Chief Executive Officer, provides administrative support to the Executive Staff as necessary
2. Maintaining corporate contracts and records.
3. Complying with regulatory/accreditation/other standards related to administration and the organization
4. Coordinating activities related to the board of directors.

6. Organizing and coordinating projects to benefit the organization
7. Initiating actions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of administrative support functions
8. Serving as corporate purchasing agent.
9. Coordinating and assisting in the development of organizational marketing and program brochures, flyers, handbooks, and other publications and signage for public information; edit, design, and produce.
10. Coordinating the development of office/lobby design/ office environment and setup .
11. Adherence to and promotion of the Corporate Compliance Program at Cummins.
Additional Responsibilities:
Assumes other appropriate duties and responsibilities as assigned by the President and Chief Executive Officer.
Training and Development:
Participates in continuing education programs and in-service training on request or in conjunction with developmental and training goals or as deemed appropriate to increase personal and professional effectiveness and improve the service quality provided our customers.

Education and/or Experience:
Preferred qualifications include:
• A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in business or other relevant field
• At least 3 years of executive-level support experience preferred
• Previous employment with exemplary and attendance record
