    Salary Range: $21.59 – $31.87 (Dependent on education, experience, seniority, and collective bargaining agreement)

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)

    • 1 year of related experience (preferred)

    Credentials:

    • Basic Life Support (Required upon hire)

    • Certified Cardiographic Technician (Preferred within 3 years)

    Skills:

    • Basic computer skills including MS Office applications

    • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions

    • Effective communication skills

    Job Summary

    Operates electrocardiograph equipment (which may include treadmill tests, ECGs, Holter monitors, etc.) to record the electromotive variations in heart muscle to provide data for diagnosis of heart ailments.

    Essential Functions

    • Performs EKGs, and may perform Holter monitors, event monitors and ambulatory blood pressure monitors on patients

    • Processes and edits EKGs

    • Charts confirmed EKGs. Records and files information related to tests performed

    • Cleans, adjusts and performs routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning

    • Performs other duties as assigned
