As an Engineering Manager for CMP & Wets, you will lead a team of equipment engineers focused on improving tool performance, product quality, and manufacturing efficiency. You’ll drive initiatives in safety, cost reduction, and continuous improvement while ensuring elite equipment availability and reliability. This role requires strong collaboration across process, integration, planning, and quality teams to resolve complex issues and meet fab performance goals.

You will champion proactive problem-solving, data-driven decision-making, and employee development, while ensuring alignment with area vision: elite equipment performance in quality, predictable availability, and cost of ownership.

Responsibilities:

+ Lead and develop a high-performing team of equipment engineers, ensuring alignment with area goals and performance metrics.

+ Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety protocols and proactive risk reduction.

+ Oversee equipment installation, upgrades, maintenance, and repair to support fab output and quality targets.

+ Lead day-to-day operations, ensuring critical metrics are met across all shifts and scheduled work is completed with minimal variation.

+ Collaborate with multi-functional teams to resolve tactical operational issues and drive yield and cost improvements.

+ Champion continuous improvement initiatives using SPC, FDC, DOE, and root cause analysis methodologies.

+ Ensure all tools meet quality and production requirements through effective maintenance, calibration, and documentation.

+ Develop and lead area performance goals, budgets, and cost-reduction projects.

+ Lead employee engagement, training, and development initiatives, including succession planning and leadership growth.

+ Communicate strategies and performance updates clearly across multiple organizational levels.

Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in CMP or Wets or other relevant process areas.

+ Must have experience with failure mode effect analysis, be able to mitigate risk associated with CMP or Wets processes, hardware and chemicals.

+ Must have a history of leading multiple initiatives on Operations and Process improvements for the CMP or Wets Processes, chemicals, materials and hardware.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Consistent track record of process optimization and problem-solving in a high-volume production setting

+ Having experience and knowledge in TIQ is beneficial

+ Excellent leadership and team management skills.

+ Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.

+ Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

+ Experience with CMP and Wets tool solving and trouble-shooting.

+ Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and semiconductor manufacturing processes.
