Job Description

Position located in Platteville, CO

The Facility Operator will work under the Facility Manager. This position is responsible for off-loading trucks, generating truck tickets and reports, communicating with drivers and supervisors regularly, and general upkeep of the facility at all times in a safe and efficient working manner.

**Duties & Responsibilities** (Essential functions are identified in bold and italicized text below.)

+ **_Must work safely at all times._**

+ **_Perform accurate timekeeping in HR management system and submit on time per payroll deadlines._**

+ **_Perform the job duty of off-loading trucks on a daily basis in a safe manner._**

+ **_Adhere to NGL safety policies and procedures._**

+ **_Maintain the cleanliness and the upkeep of the facility._**

+ **_Comply with government agency rules, regulations and laws._**

+ **_Identify equipment problems requiring immediate repair._**

+ **_Attend all safety meetings and training._**

+ **_Collect data, such as hourly checklists._**

+ **_Report problems to the facility supervisor._**

+ **_Inspect facility hourly and provide status reports to the facility supervisor._**

+ **_Punctual attendance is required._**

+ **_Regular attendance at the worksite is required._**

+ **_Perform routine scheduled tasks._**

+ **_Follow company Lock Out Tag Out procedures when needed._**

+ **_Adhere to the company's H2S safety dos and don'ts._**

+ Clean/replace bag filters daily or as needed.

+ Open and close valves and bleed off plumbing and pumps.

+ Utilize on-site facility programming monitor to run on/off pumps and open/close motor operated valves.

+ Open and close thief hatches on top of tanks.

+ Manually gauge tank levels.

+ Communicate well and supply customer relations efforts as it relates to unloading transfer trucks.

+ Audits facilities and tracks via audit checklist, and troubleshoots issues as needed, keeping facilities safe, efficient, and fully operational.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

+ Must be dependable with a stable work history.

+ Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.

+ Demonstrated ability to maintain stability under pressure and be flexible and willing to modify plans and behavior when necessary.

+ Demonstrated ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends and/or holidays.

+ Demonstrated ability to use basic computer applications and software.

+ Punctual, trustworthy and reliable.

+ Proficient spoken and written English.

+ Demonstrated ability towork as team player

+ Demonstrated ability to transfer locations as required by business needs

+ Demonstrated ability to work overtime as necessary.

+ Demonstrated ability to be a positive representative of the Company both internally and externally.

+ Demonstrated ability to work with respect and cooperation at all times with fellow employees and customers.

Experience/Education

+ Two Years Oil & Gas industry experience is preferred.

+ High school diploma / GED is preferred.

+ Valid driver’s license is required.

Travel

Negligible travel required.

+ Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

+ Work requires physical efforts associated with using the computer and phones to access information.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

This position is required to be performed at the work site during regularly scheduled hours. Physical presence at the work site is required.
