Position Purpose
Performance Foodservice Group – Oak Creek, is responsible for providing loss prevention programs, resources, and training to our associates. You will be our team's subject matter expert in workplace injury prevention, ergonomics, and serve as a trusted advisor for our associates.
Primary Responsibilities
The incumbent will promote a positive safety culture, while reducing the frequency and severity of workers’ compensation claims as well as OSHA recordable complaints/musculoskeletal disorders. We are looking for an outgoing, motivated individual with strong written and verbal communication skills, who will thrive in a fast paced, customer (both externally and internally) focused environment. You will be part of a dynamic and growing organization that is committed to providing the highest quality risk management, healthcare, ergonomics training, and injury prevention programs to.
Major Functional Responsibilities
+ Conducting on-site Injury/Illness and wellness protection
+ Reactively & Pro-actively conduct evaluations and first aid care of musculoskeletal complaints
+ Proactively analyzing workplace tasks for potential ergonomic risk factors, performing biomechanical assessments and leading injury prevention activities and training
+ Conduct & champion proactive safety, one-on-one engagements, ergonomic assessments, functional job coaching, training on functional movement, proper body mechanics, and injury prevention strategies
+ Promoting awareness of and adherence to industry based safe work practices; Assisting Members with accident/ incident investigations and root cause analysis
+ Attending Member Safety Committees, supporting both proactive and remedial initiatives; Developing training programs, awareness campaigns and resource materials
+ Analyzing industry wide and Member specific risk exposures and loss trends to prioritize problem areas and emerging needs
+ Providing exemplary customer service to our external and internal customers through frequent interactions; assisting vendors providing related programs and support services to our workforce.
+ Collaborating with others on the Loss Prevention team and other Trust departments to meet associate needs, and accomplish departmental and organization goals
+ Collaborating with off-site medical and occupational medical providers to facilitate site operational, injury prevention, claims, and recordable goals

Required Qualifications:
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree; Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Ergonomics or related field
Required Licenses and Certifications: Maintenance of national certification and state licensures and requirements
Required Work Experience: 5-7 Years
• Motivated self-starter with a customer service focus, and proven ability to work effectively
both independently and collaboratively
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, with proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized
• Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft 365
• Commitment to the laid out educational roadmap to best optimize OpCo and Enterprise needs
