• General Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking 3 General Maintenance Techs to join a team at a BRAND NEW local healthcare system in Washington, DC. These candidates will be responsible for plumbing, carpentry, painting, minor repairs, furniture moving, and fixture installations. The technician responds to service requests through a ticketing system, supports preventative maintenance, and collaborates with the Plant Operations team, especially during weekend shifts. This position ensures that the facility remains safe, functional, and welcoming for patients, staff, and visitors.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    High School Diploma or equivalent.

     

    1-3 years of experience in general maintenance (carpentry, painting, plumbing, etc.)

     

    Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and carpentry. Knowledge of building codes and regulations.

     

    Strong understanding of facility design and construction.

     

    Excellent problem-solving skills.

     

    Attention to detail.

     

    Prioritization, budgetary responsibilities, and time management.

     

    Customer service.

     

    Commercial HVAC (5-Ton or larger) maintenance experience.

     

    Project management and analysis. null
