    Job Description

    1. Helping with installation of electronic systems, including start up through final testing

    2. Follow verbal and written instruction, read and understand complex construction blueprints, diagrams and specifications used in installation activities

    3. Carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 40 pounds

    4. Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet or more

    5. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Pick up and properly dispose of all trash associated with SimplexGrinnell work.

    6. May be required to work alternate shifts or weekends to meet customer installation requirements.

    7. Daily submission of required paperwork.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    2-5+years of Fire Alarm and/or Security System experience

     

    High School Diploma or GED

     

    Follow verbal and written instructions, read and understand complex construction blueprints, diagrams and specifications used in installation activities

    Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation Low voltage experience null
