    *This position will range in salary starting at $44,833.00-$89,347.00/ annually

     

    Duluth Public Schools is seeking a 0.2 FTE Law Enforcement teacher for the upcoming school year. Courses taught may include introduction to criminal justice, police and the community, and law enforcement. The program has a new criminal justice lab, and the teacher will advise the school’s SkillsUSA program. Candidates must have a current Law Enforcement teaching license or a relevant industry certification/license, degree, or five years of industry experience related to law enforcement. Additionally, the work-based learning (WBL) endorsementis preferred, but not required. ISD 709 provides mentoring to all new, early-career teachers and free paths to teacher licensure in law enforcement for those who need assistance.”

    + Current Valid CTE Law Enforcement Careers teaching licensure
