Job Description
Job Description Summary
This position supports the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) by providing administrative and clerical assistance with data entry, record-keeping, and documentation. The EFNEP Data Entry Program Aide will enter participant paperwork, class data, and evaluation forms into designated databases, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. This position does not include teaching or community outreach responsibilities.
This position is funded by a Federal grant and is therefore contingent upon the availability of funds.
Note to Candidates
+ This position's work hours will not exceed 19 hours per week.
Responsibilities
+ Accurately enters EFNEP participant data, attendance records, and evaluations into EFNEP databases.
+ Organizes, files, and scans program paperwork and maintain participant records.
+ Verifies completeness and accuracy of paperwork submitted by program staff.
+ Assists with compiling data reports for internal tracking and federal reporting requirements.
+ Maintains confidentiality and security of participant information.
+ Communicates with EFNEP team members to ensure timely and accurate data submissions.
+ Assists with general office duties such as photocopying, organizing files, and preparing mailings as needed.
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience:
+ High School diploma or GED.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
+ Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
+ Experience with data entry and document management systems.
+ Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
+ Good organizational and time-management skills.
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Administrative support experience.
+ Familiarity with low-resource communities.
+ Bilingual (English/Spanish).
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
+ Work is primarily office-based with limited travel.
+ Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs of files or office supplies.
