Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive **Quality Technician** to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards through inspections, testing, and data analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for ensuring the integrity of every product.

Pay rate $28-$30

Duties and responsibilities:

+ Approves incoming materials conducting visual, dimensional, and electrical tests, creating, communicating, and following up Non-Conformance and Corrective Actions with suppliers

+ Approves in-process production and first article parts, conducting visual, dimensional, and electrical tests, Initiating Root Cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.

+ Approves finished products conducting visual, measurement and electrical tests signing off on job travelers, test reports and Certificates of Conformance.

+ Segregates non-conforming materials identified during incoming and in-process inspections and administrates the disposition of segregated materials.

+ Reports quality risks to Quality Manager and follows up to ensure that corrective action takes place.

+ Follow up on open actions associated with quality problems and quality findings or defects until actions are completed.

+ Verifies the effectiveness of the corrective actions by auditing and confirming errors or defects are eliminated.

+ Verifies operators are using and properly completing the documents pertaining to the manufacturing process (work order, drawing and drawing revision, job travelers, test reports).

+ Performs contract review ensuring all required supporting documentation is completed and attached to order.

+ Verifies measurement equipment is in good operating condition; it is used following operating instructions; and calls for repairs or recalibration in case needed.

+ Recommends improvements in quality procedures, work instructions for assembly, test procedures, and equipment.
