Robert Half is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented B2B Collections Specialist to join our client's dynamic team. This contract opportunity has the potential to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities:

+ Proactively contact client companies by phone and email to collect on overdue balances and past-due payments.

+ Manage and maintain an organized collections schedule while prioritizing accounts based on company-established criteria.

+ Conduct detailed account research to resolve discrepancies and verify payment histories.

+ Accurately record communications, payment agreements, and updates in internal systems and Excel spreadsheets.

+ Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to ensure effective collaboration and resolution of outstanding balances.

+ Provide reporting updates to management on collection activity and account statuses.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Proven experience in business-to-business (B2B) collections or accounts receivable.

+ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to manage and analyze large data sets.

+ Exceptional communication skills (phone and email), with the ability to negotiate professionally and navigate sensitive payment discussions.

+ High attention to detail and ability to independently research and resolve account discrepancies.

+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.

+ Experience with accounting or ERP systems is a plus.
