Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment within the construction industry. The ideal candidate will bring a detail-oriented approach to managing high volumes of invoices and demonstrate a strong ability to learn and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities: • Process and manage a high volume of invoices, exceeding 150 per day, with accuracy and efficiency. • Match purchase orders to invoices and ensure proper electronic workflow processing. • Maintain precise records and ensure timely data entry for vendor invoices. • Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and address invoice-related issues. • Utilize computer systems and software to perform daily tasks. • Uphold accuracy and attention to detail in all accounts payable operations. • Demonstrate initiative as a self-starter and contribute to process improvements. • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with vendors and internal stakeholders. • Identify and troubleshoot problems effectively, offering solutions to streamline operations. • Adapt quickly to new processes and tools, maintaining a proactive and eager-to-learn mindset. Requirements • 2-5 years of proven experience in accounts payable, including invoice entry and purchase order matching. • Ability to manage high volumes of invoices efficiently and accurately. • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel. • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate results. • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a dynamic environment. • Problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying solutions and process improvements. • Eagerness to learn, grow, and adapt to new responsibilities. • Excellent numeric data entry skills, including proficiency in 10-key operations.
