Description
We are looking for a skilled Tax Senior to join our team in Mountain View, California. This role involves preparing and reviewing tax deliverables, supporting senior leadership, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in tax compliance, analytical skills, and a commitment to delivering accurate and timely results.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review tax deliverables, including tax returns, extensions, and related filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with the Manager, Senior Manager, or Principal to identify and address technical tax issues, contributing to the resolution process.
• Apply tax knowledge to individual client situations, ensuring work products meet or exceed expectations for quality and timeliness.
• Conduct research on complex tax issues and assist the client service team in forming well-informed conclusions.
• Build and maintain strong networks with internal teams and external partners, fostering relationships to support business growth.
• Communicate technical tax knowledge needs proactively and collaborate with senior leadership to determine personal development goals.
• Mentor and assist in training tax associates, contributing to the development of less experienced team members.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of client financial, business, and family goals to deliver tailored tax solutions.
• Utilize tax software to input data, prepare work papers, and generate accurate filings for review by senior leadership.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or Accounting is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in individual, fiduciary, and entity tax compliance and related tax issues.
• Strong analytical and accounting skills, with basic knowledge of investments, financial planning, and estate planning.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex tax issues and provide practical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver results within tight deadlines.
• Commitment to continuous growth and development in the field of tax compliance.
