    Primary Responsibilities/Essential Job Functions:

    + Shared responsibility for finished goods meeting or exceeding customer expectations

    + Understand the convolution and inspection process (training required)

    + Setup and operation of Convoluters. Pull set-up sheet from computer to select proper tooling, heat temps, vacuum, die RPM and puller speed.

    + Setup SPC Program and monitor tube parameters

    + Maintains water and filters on machine.

    + Follow directions from drawings, standard work and work instructions. Review drawings for special notes on packaging and cleaning. Inspection of product to meet drawing requirements.

    + Proper use of measuring devices (measurement training required)

    + Make labels for tubing and properly complete production reports (per work instructions)

    + Adhere to quality standards and guidelines. Maintain accurate records

    + Maintain work area in clean and orderly fashion, follow 5S practices

    + Report production issues to Value Stream Team Leader

    + Perform work of an equal or lower classification

    Minimum Qualifications (relevant experience, education and/or training):

    + High School Diploma or GED, recognizes International Diplomas (may need to be translated to English)

    + U.S. Citizen or permanent residency status required

    + Basic computer skills preferred

    + Must be able to read work orders and interpret manufacturing specifications, understand and use shop math, use and interpret measuring instruments (calipers, stop watch, gauges, calculator, etc.)

    + Must be able to demonstrate ability to operate department equipment

    + Must be able to adapt to production needs to satisfy customer demands

    + Must be able to work and communicate with peers

    + Must be able to write legibly, read and speak English

    + Basic understanding of lean fundamentals preferred

    Physical Requirements:

    Standing, sitting, bending, lifting (up to 30 lbs.), walking, working under normal conditions, etc. Steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and ear plugs (85-90 dB) are all required PPE. All PPE provided by Company.
