Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for a full-time **Branch Manager (Warehouse Lead/Supervisor)** in **Liverpool, NY** . This position is a direct-hire opportunity, paying **$50-70k per year** , depending on experience.
Summary:
We’re looking for a hands-on, results-driven **Warehouse Supervisor / Lead** to oversee daily warehouse and logistics operations. This role is responsible for leading a small team, maintaining a safe and organized facility, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment, and supporting overall branch efficiency. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, warehouse experience, and a passion for creating a smooth and effective operation.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
+ Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse in compliance with company standards
+ Ensure orders are accurately pulled, staged, and shipped according to customer requirements
+ Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to maintain accuracy
+ Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to support customer needs
+ Troubleshoot product or order issues and offer effective solutions
+ Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
+ Assist customers in person and by phone when needed
+ Operate and maintain warehouse management systems and inventory software
+ Participate in training and certifications as required
+ Perform other duties as assigned
Supervisory Duties:
+ Supervise warehouse and delivery staff, including scheduling and task assignment
+ Train and mentor team members; support onboarding of new hires
+ Monitor performance and provide feedback, coaching, and discipline as needed
+ Ensure adequate staffing to meet operational needs efficiently
+ Enforce company policies and safety procedures
Qualifications:
+ 2+ years of warehouse leadership or supervisory experience preferred
+ Working knowledge of warehouse processes, shipping/receiving, and inventory management
+ Ability to read and interpret purchase orders, packing lists, and related documents
+ Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with WMS/inventory systems
+ Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
+ Self-starter with strong time management and multitasking ability
+ Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
+ Must pass pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check
