Responsible for driving business growth through strategic alliances and/or acquisitions that support the strategic initiatives of the Neurovascular Division. Provides vision and direction in the development of strategic plans to drive sales growth through the acquisition/licensing of intellectual property, new products, and/or companies to enter new markets, add scale, or fill gaps in existing product lines. Own, regularly update, and successfully implement the business development process, including strategy development (Gap Analysis, Gap Prioritization), cast of net (communicating areas of focus, target company list development, etc.), deal process (contacting target, conducting due diligence and integration planning, compiling financial models, ownership of term sheet and definitive agreement construction), drafting of CER and approval materials for Stryker’s senior leadership including its board of directors, integration and incremental process improvements. Role also includes management responsibility for our Strategy and Market Insights function and the annual Strategic Planning process.
