    Compensation: $23.00 - $27.00/hour Dependent on Experience

     

    Work Schedule: Full-time, Day Shift

    Tessera Aerospace Manufacturing is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Inspector to join our team in Auburn, WA. This entry-level position plays a critical role in ensuring that fabricated and machined aerospace components meet stringent quality standards. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment and will be committed to continuous improvement and safety.

    Typical duties include but are not limited to:

    + Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.)

    + Conduct visual inspections based on internal and customer specifications

    + Document inspection results in accordance with customer and internal requirements

    + Verify calibration of inspection tools and report deviations

    + Collaborate with Estimating, Planning, Programming, and Manufacturing teams on quality issues

    + Identify and document non-conformances; generate NCRs and support corrective actions

    + Conduct audits and participate in process improvement initiatives

    + Maintain accurate and complete quality documentation

    + Verify supplier certifications and reconcile discrepancies

    + Support internal audit preparation and compliance efforts

    + Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE on the production floor

    + Communicate effectively across departments and contribute to team goals

    Qualifications:

    + 0-3 Years experience in aerospace manufacturing or related field

    + Proficient with standard precision measuring tools

    + Basic understanding of blueprint reading and geometric tolerancing

    + Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

    + Knowledge of AS9100D standards preferred

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

    + Willingness to learn and cross-train in related inspection tasks

    Physical Requirements:

    Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.

     

    + Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

    + May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.

    + Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.

    + Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.

    Requirements:

    + Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances. A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position .

    + To comply with U.S. government regulations applicable to this position, all applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S. as defined in 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20), or a “protected individual” as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)
