    Duties and Responsibilities

     

    The Department of Molecular Pharmacology and Neuroscience at the Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine is accepting applications for two postdoctoral positions to investigate two projects.

     

    + The function and regulation of RNA editing in responses to prenatal stress.

    + The discovery and use of circulating RNA biomarkers. We are seeking innovative, motivated, and hardworking candidates to be able to perform high-quality, cutting-edge, and independent research.

    + Candidates are expected to utilize computational, biochemical, functional, and in vivo approaches including RNA omics and bioinformatics approaches.

    + Experience with tools of RNA sequence analysis is desired.

    Minimum Education and/or Work Experience

    + M.D. or PhD Required

    Qualifications

    + Ph.D. in any of the following areas: Neuroscience, Pharmacology, Physiology, or Biochemistry.

    Certificates/Credentials/Licenses

    + Ph.D. in any of the following areas: Neuroscience, Pharmacology, Physiology, or Biochemistry.

    Computer Skills

    + Microsoft Office Suites
