    Description

    POSITION SUMMARY

    Perform a variety of porter duties throughout the facility and grounds, with the ability to work unsupervised and take initiative to maintain a clean facility.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Monitor buildings and grounds to empty trash receptacles and pick up debris.

    + Collect stretch wrap and cardboard and dispose of properly.

    + Sweep, mop, scrub and/or vacuum floor and stair surfaces within buildings with least possible disruption of work routines.

    + Clean windows and all glass surfaces routinely using cleaning materials and supplies.

    + Clean walls and fixtures routinely using cleaning materials and supplies.

    + Clean/Vacuum equipment as directed with safety and quality specifications maintained.

    + Dust, sanitize and maintain cleanliness with vending machines, water breaks/fountains, microwaves, refrigerators and freezer.

    + Monitor and fill janitorial and PPE shop floor dispensers.

    + Assist in loading, unloading and distribution of supplies as directed.

    + Snow removal, salting and other weather related duties pertaining to the safety of our employees and customers.

    + Assist and adhere with the 5-S program

    + Maintain high standards for safety, productivity, security, and housekeeping.

    + Follow all shop rules and ensure that all activities are conducted in a safe manner.

    + Perform all other duties as required or assigned by management personnel.

    + Perform simple preventative maintenance as required.

    + Perform minor facility maintenance tasks.

    Qualifications

    Knowledge:

    + High School Diploma or GED

    + Attendance is essential for success.

    Qualifications:

    + Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen, this includes THC.

    License(s)/Certification(s) Required:

    + Must be able to obtain a forklift certification.
